Later in 1997 we parted company when I stopped playing, sold my kit and moved to Toronto. About one year later I returned to Timmins for work for Northern Ventilation ( I am now co-owner). In February 1999, I got together with Shawn and Andre. I bought all new equipment and we formed TRIKL TSHYN.

It wasn't until the age of 18 that I finally came out of my shell and wanted to play the guitar. My father was really excited for me so he went out and bought me an electric guitar and amp. I practiced every day. When I felt that I had gained enough experience as a musician, I decided to try out for a local band that was having a difficult time finding the right voice for their music. Although I was nervous that i had never attempted to sing and play my guitar at the same time in front of other musicians, after the first song we played, I was voted in as a member of OBEX (now called A.K.A.). We played together from August of 1995 until November of 1997. Do to conflicting interests, I decided to part company and set out to form my own band. Still practicing every day and writing my own music, I found two perfect band mates, Mike and Andre. The minute we started jamming I knew that we had something good in the making.

I moved to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada for about five years, where I've seen some really good bands play down at Barrymore's. I hope we play there some day. I moved back to Timmins and I met up with Shawn. We started jamming and we were coming up with originals like there was no tomorrow. We clicked immediately, musically speaking. Shawn said he knew a really good drummer in town so we decided to ask Mike if he'd be interested in playing in a band with us. Mike said he was game and we've been writing music together since.
